The purpose of Masonic Charities of Arizona is primarily to assist those Arizona organizations engaged in relieving human suffering of any kind that are dependent upon contributions from the public to fulfill their mission.

Masonic Charities of Arizona is a non-profit charity corporation, organized under the laws of the State of Arizona on April 25, 1981, and is an Internal Revenue Service approved tax-exempt Section 501(c)(3) non-profit  organization. Donations are deductible for state and federal income tax purposes.

Donated funds are placed in an investment portfolio and grants to qualified organizations are made from the interest earned by those accounts.

The Board of Directors is appointed to serve a three-year term by the Grand Master of Masons of Arizona. Directors serve voluntarily and receive no compensation for their service.

Anyone can include Masonic Charities of Arizona in his/her Will or Bequest in any form, (i.e. real estate, securities, life insurance, cash, or other personal property). Contact your attorney/tax advisor regarding the proper form for your situation.

Donations may be made in the name of a loved one or a friend as a Memorial. Memorial donations will be acknowledged when the name and address of the recipient is provided.

Throughout its history, grants from Masonic Charities of Arizona have been to needy organizations in the various communities within the State of Arizona.
